This one goes out to all the ladies…
Hey, ladies! You should have received your invitation to the next Shine brunch, which will be held Saturday, October 6 (9:30-11:30 AM). Please try your best to be there! Also, encourage the ladies in your life groups [WHO SERVE AT SHORELINE in any capacity] to join you. Your personal invitation may make all the difference to them. We’re going to watch a great video by Christine Caine, plus we have some other cool stuff planned. Please bring a dish to share. I think I may bring peaches & cream pie. - Lori

I have the final life group attendance numbers for the summer semester: 2007 Summer Life Group Attendance Feel free to review the list to see which groups were highly attended and which were not. Please note that we averaged 99 per week, which is roughly 1/3 of our Sunday morning attendance. That tells me that people are getting connected and forming relationships within the church. Great job, leaders! You should be proud! Now, aren’t you glad I bugged you about sending me your attendance numbers every week? Spreadsheets are fun!

No commentsSince you’re a life group leader…
Please take time to “study” the attached life group menu: Fall 2007 Life Group Menu As a life group leader, it’s important that you’re aware of what else is available in the church. For example, if a new mom attends your Bible study, you may recommend that she visit the Fun in the Son group. Or if a mom attending Fun in the Son is having issues with her hubby, you may want to tell her about the marriage group. Or if you make a new friend, you may want to invite them to Game Night with you. The examples are endless! And this doesn’t just apply to Shoreline members or people already attending a life group with you. You can invite non-church friends or co-workers, as well. Remember, personal invitations are key to getting people involved! In fact, this Sunday (Sept 9) would be a fantastic day to invite your friends to church. The message will focus on our relationships with each other. Plus, you KNOW the videos on Get Life Day are always fun to watch! See you guys there!
