Coffee Break-FWB because I'm excited about having something in Fort Walton and because Panera in Destin is where I got started. I'm also thrilled Barbara's bible study has moved to Mon. nights. I've been wanting to attend and now I can. I also have two all-time favorites...Panera in Destin of course and Bible Unbound. I had never learned to read the Bible that way and to really listen to what God had to say to me. I'm not the most disciplined person and that really helped me set time aside for God. And those are all my favorites, that's why I picked those to be a part of. Duh. I love that I have something in common with the people at each of these lifegroups, and we're creating such a network of love and support. I especially love our military dinner. I feel a special burden to support the families of those with such demanding jobs and of the deployed :) We've had fun doing the dinners!! I TOTALLY love this Life Group. There is something so powerful and transformative about serving others in this way. It's such a tangible way to serve the Lord and I so often feel His presence when I put a meal in someone's hands and see the suffering and gratitude in their eyes -- "Whatever you did to the least of these you did unto me." My answer to both is Supper on Saturday. I TOTALLY love this Life Group. There is something so powerful and transformative about serving others in this way. That was an awesome group and I made friends and had a couple breakthroughs. Good stuff. I totally enjoy the ladies night though. That's on a whole other level and hard to compare. We will start it this week and I have had lots of people whom I haven't been in a Life Group with say they will be coming. I can't wait to get to know those who will be attending! Also, studying the Word shapes my life and I could use some shaping! I will be leading the group with Lori so of course, doing anything with her is always and adventure. I have to agree with Lori AGAIN that my favorite Life Group ever is Ladies Night. I like going out with the girls! I My favorite Life Group this summer is Summer Bible Study. I'm excited about Summer Bible Study because I'll be co-leading it with Darlene, who's one of my favorite people on the planet, and also because I haven't participated in a ladies Bible study since spring 2007. I've missed it! I'm excited about The Club because all my husband does is WORK WORK WORK and he needs this opportunity to relax and get to know some of the guys at Shoreline. (2) I have two favorite Life Groups ever. First, Ladies Night... and not because it's my group! I feel it's the easiest entry point for Shoreline. I also really look forward to the break from my kids once a month! My other favorite Life Group was the ladies Bible study at Kelly's house during the spring 2007. Not only was it spiritually enriching, I felt I connected with the other ladies on a very deep level. It was wonderful to see God bring together women like that! I’ll get this started.
