Shoreline’s next series, Censored, will start January 4th and run for five weeks. The final message in this series will be February 1st, which is GET LIFE DAY! What an awesome finale to a much-anticipated series!

Fall Semester Wrap-up
The spring semester doesn’t kick off until Get Life Day on February 1st. However, most fall semester groups wrap up the week before Christmas and don’t meet in January. For this reason, I stopped collecting attendance numbers on December 20th. This semester, we had a total of 2,255 Life Group attendees, with an average weekly attendance of 150. If you’d like to see the complete attendance breakdown by group, download the following document: 2008 Fall Life Group Attendance
No commentsPreparing for the Spring 2009 semester
You will see ads recruiting new Life Group Leaders on December 21, December 28, and January 4. Many of the Fall 2008 groups will be continuing, but we’re also looking for some new leaders. The Spring 2009 semester kicks off with Get Life Day on February 1.
Perhaps you’ve thought about hosting a Bible study in your home, but aren’t sure what to discuss or where to start. Shoreline has a collection of DVD curriculum that you’re able to borrow. That way, you don’t feel the pressure to “teach” – you just need to be willing to open your home.
We’re also looking for leaders of activity-based groups. If you have a hobby or interest, make it a group!
The deadline for signing up to be a leader is MONDAY, JANUARY 12. Please contact Lori, Shoreline’s Life Group Coordinator, at 217-9495 or lori@saczynski.com to discuss your options.
No commentsCare Force
Care Force is a group of volunteers at Shoreline Church who deliver meals to those in need (ex: new baby, sickness, loss of a loved one, etc). This is a good opportunity for people who don’t have a lot of extra time to serve on a regular basis. Tell those who attend your Life Group about Care Force and encourage them to sign up. They can either mark their connection card on Sunday morning or call 217-9495.
No commentsTwo Fundraisers
This month, Shoreline is offering two fundraisers. Kozytoez will raise money for youth camp (high school and middle school) and Learning Express will raise money for kids camp. Please help spread the word! Thanks so much! (Click on images to enlarge.)
