However, most fall semester groups wrap up the week before Christmas and don’t meet in January. For this reason, I stopped collecting attendance numbers on December 20th. This semester, we had a total of 2,255 Life Group attendees, with an average weekly attendance of 150. Many of the Fall 2008 groups will be continuing, but we’re also looking for some new leaders. The Spring 2009 semester kicks off with Get Life Day on January 25.

Perhaps you’ve thought about hosting a Bible study in your home, but aren’t sure what to discuss or where to start. Shoreline has a collection of DVD curriculum that you’re able to borrow. That way, you don’t feel the pressure to “teach” - you just need to be willing to open your home.

We’re also looking for leaders of activity-based groups. If you have a hobby or interest, make it a group!

This is a good opportunity for people who don’t have a lot of extra time to serve on a regular basis. Tell those who attend your Life Group about Care Force and encourage them to sign up. They can either mark their connection card on Sunday morning or call 217-9495.

91% said antihomosexual
87% said judgmental
85% said hypocritical
78% said old-fashioned
75% said too involved in politics
72% said out of touch with reality
70% said insensitive to others
68% said boring
64% said not accepting of other faiths
61% said confusing

As a member of Shoreline Church and a Life Group Leader, would the way you speak and act be perceived this way by non-Christians? Or are we acting in love? Both the Transparent Church and the Here Comes the Judge series go along perfectly with this particular survey.
